Mike began his musical career while still in high school, performing jazz gigs around Milwaukee alongside renowned musicians such as Berkley Fudge and Dan Nimmer (the Lincoln Center Jazz Ensemble), as well as other local jazz staples. His early talent earned him a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he studied under acclaimed drummer Mike Mangini (Dream Theater).

During his time at Berklee, Mike further honed his craft through mentorships with legendary drummers including Bernard Purdie, Bob Moses, and later Dave Weckl. It was also at Berklee that he launched his session career, doing late-night drum sessions for composer Joe Wong and even collaborating with legendary producer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin).

After Berklee, Mike relocated to Chicago, where he WOrked with artists and producers such as Jay Bennett (Wilco), Dave Vandervelde (Father John Misty), Jason Ward (Arcade fire) and toured with bands including The Bomb (Naked Raygun) and Four Star Alarm.

Eventually settling in Los Angeles, He worked with a wide range of artists, composers, and producers, Some including Globus (Yoav Goren), Matt Wallace (Faith no more, maroon 5), sage lewis, Andrew masters, Summer Darling, Seth olinsky (cy dune, akron family), Ali Beletic (Alevenique), Ilevens, Cataline, Paul Layton, Brendan Byrnes, ryan hanifl, ian Vargo, and many others. Mike has also contributed to to film soundtracks, national commercials, and music libraries for future perfect and immediate music.

Mike is currently based in Milwaukee, where he continues to collaborate with both local and national artists. From his personal studio, he records and delivers professional drum tracks to clients EVERYWHERE.
